MARATHON, June 26, 2020 – The Monroe County State Attorney’s Office Middle Keys office has moved about a mile south on U.S. 1 to a location at 2975 Overseas Highway, on the oceanside.
The new office, called the Marathon Professional Center, is around mile marker 48 of U.S. 1 and across the highway from the Marathon Government Center, at 30th Street and U.S. 1. Staff moved in on June 26.
It is conveniently adjacent to the Marathon courthouse and contains more square footage than the previous location and provides a secure location for employees and the public. Monroe County owns the building, which formerly served as an office for private attorneys.
